Some Tips To Make Any Home Workspace Epic

I wanted to put together a list of tips and tricks to maximize your home workspace. Millions of people find themself working from home. Many of these people are working in spaces not meant for work. If you want to Optimize Productivity When Working From Home check out this cool article. The article gives some awesome tips to improve your home workspace habits. Now let’s make that home workspace epic.

I put together a shortlist of things you can easily do to make your home workspace epic.

1. Declutter

This is the first step in transforming your workspace. Make sure that everything on your desk or work area is needed for that day. Don’t keep stuff out just because it “may” be needed.

Having less junk in your home workspace will result in having less stress. Here is an example of how good a clean desk can look.

2. Get a Monitor

If you can’t afford a PC a new monitor makes a world of a difference. Before I was able to purchase a Home desktop computer I purchased this Sceptre Curved 27” LED Monitor. With only an HDMI cable I was able to have my laptop monitor and 27 more inches of screen space. I was able to look at three different windows alone on the new monitor.

3. Upgrade Your Home Office Chair

Sitting in a chair for 8 hours a day can be really rough. A proper chair should give your lumbar and pelvic the support it needs. This will improve your posture and reduce health-related issues. Your home workspace office chair should also be ergonomic. Ergonomics is the study of people’s efficiency in their working environment. The team over at MyErgonomicChair.com has an awesome blog where they talk about staying productive in your workspace.

4. Limit Distraction

A lot of people don’t have the luxury of a dedicated home workspace. People have chaotic lives with kids, pets, and landscapers. Make sure that you can find a place that allows you to focus on your work. Headphones can also work to limit distractions.

5. Bring on the Sun

Let light into your workspace. Vitamin D is really important for productivity and energy. Make sure you have a window in your office that allows some natural light to come in. it will improve the workspace and improve your mindset

6. Plants

My favorite upgrade to my home workspace was a money tree. Plants can also give off a sense of calming and relaxation.
